Fundraise for Brake
Help Brake prevent road deaths and injuries, and support victims of road crashes, by fundraising during Road Safety Week. Many organisations, schools and individuals run fundraising activities during the Week as a fun, lively way to promote road safety within their community.
Brake Bright – Go Yellow
A dress down day with a difference, where everyone dresses in yellow or other bright colours in return for a donation to Brake. You'll also be helping to raise awareness of road safety, particularly reminding drivers to look out for people on foot and bike. Find out more.
You can also order Road Safety Week t-shirts from our shop to wear.
Bake for Brake
Bake and sell cakes or other goods to raise funds for Brake. You could hold a morning tea to bring staff, students and/or the community together, or you could turn it into a baking competition, with prizes for the winners. You could also tie in your bake sale with road safety activities, such as a quiz or a road safety toolbox talk for staff. Find out more.
Hold a Step Up walk or cycle
Walk, run or cycle for Brake. You decide when, where and how far you go. You could go round your neighbourhood, along local cycle paths or trails, or sign up for a run or cycle ride. Get your family involved, or your colleagues or friends. Set up a Givealittle fundraising page and get sponsored for your activity.
